Story training

Everyone in your company is telling stories.

Your story and how it is told is a living narrative shaped from the inside out. And that’s how it should be if you’re going to have a healthy story.

I help you develop and maintain a healthy story that will serve your business long-term. By creating collaborative learning spaces and resources, I ensure everyone has a hand in shaping your brand story and sharing it with the world.

Crafting your story

The craft of story creates the art of story.

Telling your story in a way that connects with people and inspires them to work with you is no small task. For many businesses, deciding which stories to tell and when can be challenging. Story training is an investment that gives you an opportunity to get wildly clear on your purpose and how to communicate it to your staff, vendors, collaborators, and customers.

Improving story skills within your company is kind of like a compound investment—the craft and knowledge will be seen at every level of your business and the returns will be measured in emotional relevance and your bottom line for years to come.

Programs and courses

I help learners of all kinds become masters of their own story so that they can then go on to lead, change, and develop healthy, sustainable stories for themselves and their community.

Since 2011, I’ve been instructing students in a variety of settings, from higher education to private sector. I have two degrees in story craft and have continually sought to learn how technology can enhance how we share stories. Teaching is my passion and I love creating customized training for passionate companies that want to experience the benefits of a thriving story culture.

If you would like to discuss your training needs for your business or organization, please contact me to discuss how I can support your learning.

Story by Design:  Telling Tourism Stories Visitors Will Love

A half-day workshop designed for tourism operators who are seeking to connect with visitors in a meaningful way. In this workshop, we dive into what place-telling means and how we can use design to create narratives that not only connect but work hard for our budgets and time. This is an ideal workshop for anyone interested in going beyond the usual tourism tropes to genuinely craft visitor-centric stories that are unique, authentic, and strategically designed to move the dial.
